Re: Change Cm in Device
OK. Good work John, as usual. Thanks. Aside: regarding Cm and Powerstroke. General principles do claim that rider motion that does not translate into forward motion is a loss of energy between the pedal and the road (which approximates Cm). If so, would not PowerStroke's "Wasted Watts" val...

Re: Change Cm in Device
For clarity, not to pick: Cm as a user variable has come up in my expierence as least 2 times before. I believe one was messaging with Trevor when iBike wasn't Newton. Cm doesn't matter that much to me even though on my recumbent quad with a crank, N360 mid-drive and a a geared underdrive Cm may 1.1...

Re: Change Cm in Device
Hey John Promises, promises. For years velcomp folk have said they will make Cm "mechanical efficiency" a simple user entry. I have several drivetrains, different profiles, none of which are 98%. Double mid-drive is ...don't laugh... It would be superior for Newton/Issac to use my user ent...

Re: Auto Trip Reset: Feature or Failure?
Auto reset after 4 hours is almost always more reliable than me rembering.
BUT NOT ALWAYS!
I do long multi-day trips with stops that can go over the 4 hour range.
A one-ride recording is best.
Could you include a switch for this feature in "user"?

Isaac 1.0.9 is downloaded and working.
Off I go for a Calibration ride and coast downs.
This Newton system is rather nice to use.
Fitness Test is next.

Re: Cal Ride and Coast Downs
Just came back from what should be a good calibration ride withouT coast-downs. deleted all data from Newton Device/Setup Device/<followed wizard prompts> etc etc etc AGAIN, NO CALIBRATION RIDE ANALSIS WINDOW where "download ride data" works fine. ... unistalled Isaac and USB driver ... re...

Re: Cal Ride and Coast Downs
OK, these are the same instructions from which I made a check list and followed. Not erasing data before the CalRide/Coast-downs is OK. The roads were straight without hills. Wind calm. no changes during cal. Weather heavy overcast, no change during ride, showers during the very last coast-down. My ...

Re: Cal Ride and Coast Downs
this new newton fw 2.14 easily installed on my townbike. Isaac 1.0.8 did a quick setup. wind/tilt calibration, 1st calibration ride <maybe finished a little short of start.> Back at Isaac, the ride data looked fine. Next day, with ambition to get calibration with coast downs....not so successfull. P...
