Re: Mewton not finding ibike Hrt strap
Try resetting the HR Strap, by reversing the battery in the strap for about 10-15 seconds. Place the battery back into the strap in its proper orientation, then put the HR Strap on. Force a sensor scan with the Newton, by pressing/holding both the {UP} and {DOWN} arrows of the Newton simultaneously,...

Re: Software Won't Connect with Unit
There are a few things to check if your unit is not connecting to the software. Often times, a re-boot of the computer running the Isaac software can help, as well as a Hard Reset of the Newton. I recommend also trying a different USB/Micro USB cable (most Android phones use this same cable). Be sur...

Re: Repeat Profile following Stem change
Since nothing has changed with the weight of the bicycle, and it is just a change in the mounting of the Newton, I think you will be fine just doing a new Cal Ride procedure.

Re: I keep breaking Newton mounts
I had my first mount break - cracked at the underside by the screws. Second mount is holding up fie. I did a careful uniform tightening and then backed off each screw by a quarter turn. Biggest thing I don't like is the non-stainless steel screws - they RUST and look bad. I have had other riders co...

Re: cal ride
Once you calibrate the Newton, you should not need another calibration unless you change the computers position on the bike, or make any drastic change to ride position or bike geometry. We have not had any issues to date, with dirt clogging the windport, however, I suspect some occasional visual in...

Re: Calibration
Also, your tilt will not display perfectly unless you are on the bike as well. Part of the cal ride does fine tune the tilt. When you sit on the saddle, it loads the rear wheel, enough to change your tilt that -0.3 or -0.2 which you are seeing. Your profile looks good. Stick with it.

Re: Calibration
Can you please post a photo of how the unit is mounted? I see this cal ride from 07/02/13, and it appears that the data is fine. I would recommend leaving this profile in your iBike unit and training with it. I have a feeling if your tilt data is erratic, it may have to do with the position of the u...

No super glue, a replacement is in order. I could not find the latch in my search for the pieces. Also I would not trust the waterproofing after this. Hello, We now have some pretty advanced features in the Isaac software to allow you to "Check Calibration." If you do a short 4-5mi out and back ride, (not a cal ride) same road, no drafting.. (basically the same parameters as the cal ride). If you load this file to Isaac, go to: ANALYZE--...

The data can be sent directly to the Garmin as long as the Newton or Newton+ has the GT Firmware installed. This firmware can always be added post purchase, or if you are ordering the device directly from iBike, they will load the Firmware before sending. You can always export the file from the Isaa...

Re: iAero and Garmin 310XT
It is also necessary to run a scan for sensors on the iAero, in order to get the P out function to work. What I would recommend, is doing a hard reset of the iBike, by reversing the battery in the unit for about 10 seconds. After you do this, be sure that the unit is on the mount, and scan for the s...

Re: Cadence sensor all of a sudden not being found
When re-setting the sensor(by reversing the battery) it will change the code, that is why you see the new wireless ID's. Also, be sure that you have that cadence magnet as close as you can get it to the sensor, without touching. I can barely see light through the space of mine. If this doesn't solve...
