Heart fail on Gen 3
I forgot to put my HR strap on today and got the expected Heart Fail message. However, is there some way of getting rid of the message and just seeing the power data? On my Gen2 model I recall that I could just get past the error message by pressing the centre once it had tried and failed to pick up...

Two profiles
Can I send two profiles to Gen III from ibike 3? If so, how I do stop the second one over-writing the first. If I can, how do I know which is which when I switch between profiles on the unit?

Gen II to III - new profiles required?
Just got my Gen III - will the profiles from Gen II give me reasonably sensible power readings or is it best to do some new ones? It's just that it's hard to find a relatively still day to do the calibration rides at the moment. I've not changed the mount.

Powertap with ANT+
Will my ANT+ Powertap hub pair with my iAero so that I get DFPM values displayed on the iAero head unit, or will I need to import the PT data into the software afterwards? I can't see anything in the iAero instructions for PT (just Quark and SRM). If it doesn't pair yet, any idea when the updated fi...

Coast Downs
I always do my coast downs on a particular stretch of road, then turn around, make my way back to the same starting point and do the next one etc etc. Is there any reason why I couldn't just do a coast down every time I come to a suitable bit of road while out on a ride? That way I would get a varie...

Wind Offset
Quick question about wind offset. I zeroed the offset after about 15 minutes once the unit was at outside temperature, but when I did the detailed wind analysis in iBike 2 the offset showed -4. Why is this? For info, I was riding in a group today.

Fit Plot Button
What does the Fit Plot button do in the iBike 2 and how does one use it? I've searched the instructions and couldn't find anything on it.

Re: Turning unit on after stopping
I had that the other day. If you are using a wired mount it should just start up again; if you are on wireless it will need to find the signals again - press the centre button as normal and start pedalling. It should pick up the signals in a few seconds. I'm not sure if it's the simplest method, but...

Re: high Vibration software analysis
The high vibration sections of a ride show up automatically on the advanced analysis screen. I was running the original iBike and the feature worked, so maybe you just haven't been getting any vibation problems to report.

Re: Post ride analysis
iBike doesn't work in heavy rain, as the pressure port gets blocked and gives some very weird power figures. It is possible to correct the raw power data in wko, but I've not figured out a way of pasting a value into multiple cells in one go. This makes it very laborious. I've tried to correct the n...

Re: Heart Rate Data
That makes sense, as it was the first ten minutes of the ride. I'll get myself some gel from the chemist.

Heart Rate Data
It would appear that I was picking up another rider's heart rate monitor in a race, as the numbers were around double what I would have expected for around 10 minutes. Is the heart rate monitor coded in way, like the Polar, to stop this happening?

New tilt setting
I was wondering whether I would need to redo the coast downs etc if the tilt has moved slightly. Or can I just do the tilt and everything else will work itself out, all other things being equal? Also, I've lost a couple of kilos since I did my coast downs, so do I need to do another set, or can I ju...
