Re: Wireless stem mount
Don't use the Topeak extender - I was only using that as an example of adapting the stem mount to a small diameter surface. If you already have the wireless stem mount then all you need is the "Universal Mount Adapter Gasket" that will give you a snug fit on your smaller diameter stem. David

Re: Wireless stem mount
I have adapted my wireless stem mount to the diameter of the Topeak barextender - refer to the posting "Aero Topeak Configuration with Wireless Stem Mount " - I used the "Universal Mount Adapter Gasket" from velocomp which is shipped with all of the new bar mounts available from ...

Re: Erroneous power readings on Ibike
Interesting that you got the FSA mount to work. That was my first try but there was too much vibration to get any accuracy. I then moved to the Topek.

Re: Erroneous power readings on Ibike
PS - my coast downs with the stem mount vs. the Topek below the aero bars indicate no difference but they were both performed on a calm day.

Re: Erroneous power readings on Ibike
The clearance is about 1 cm - i.e. the top of the wireless mount is about 1 cm above the aero bars. The real issue is to ensure that when you twist off the iBike it clears the arm pad base. I'm not sure about the cross winds or bar end shifters. I've done some testing against a powertap but nothing ...

Re: Erroneous power readings on Ibike
You'll need to test your particular setup for wind issues - more photos enclosed.

Re: Erroneous power readings on Ibike
Two sets of photos to follow - I use straight bars and I ride with my hands to the side. Aero bars are not too close together and the stem mount gives the iBike some height.

This is a .csv file - comma delimited straight out of the iBike. It's basically a text file - no macros possible. Excel files have .xls extensions and macros can only exist in excel .xls.

Practical Guide for using the iBike on a Track Bike
There have been a number of posts inquiring how to use the iBike on a track bike. I've experimented with the iBike at the Velodrome for almost two seasons and I'll summarize my findings. 1. I'm now using the latest generation iBike (the unit that the iAero is based on) with great success. I am using...

Re: Erroneous power readings on Ibike
I would suggest not attaching your iBike to the Aero Bar - I tried that once and I found that vibration and the bar flex gave poor results. I have use the Topeak extension with good results or now I have moved to a stem mount wireless on my TT bike.

Re: coast down values
This looks reasonable - I've seen frictional numbers in my profiles ranging from 5.5xx to 8.xx.
