Newton Waterproof-ability
Hi all, A few months ago my rode and got caught in a massive rainstorm, hurricance style and it was just miserable. Unfortunately my iBike Gen III officially crapped out after that due to the massive amount of rain it endured. So I currently don't have a power meter. Once I understood everything wit...

Re: Just making sure
I am currently using the Gen III iBike. I have not had any issues with the adapter prior to this and have tried all the trouble shooting mechanisms!

Just making sure
So I downloaded all my new iBike stuff to a new lap top. I went to install the USB stuff and said it's was successfully installed. Unfortunately, I am continually getting a message that the USB adapter is malfunctioning or is damaged and does not work. I figure the adapter to download the workouts i...

Re: Profiles though Check Calibration Feature
Fernando, I just did an out and back ride and it was perfectly done. Here is the file. Yes, the wind scaling was high but I figure everything else in the other profile was good as it changed when my weight changed. OR should the profile developed from this ride be my new profile in general? Thanks f...

Re: Profiles though Check Calibration Feature
Alright, thanks....I have a recovery ride scheduled for tomorrow so I'll do an out-and-back ride there. What influences the wind offset? I do a solid wind calibration every time I head out.

Profiles though Check Calibration Feature
I've been using the Check Calibration feature to ensure that my profile is right and I think I've found a very good one to where when I check it is pretty spot on. However, I am fairly technologically inept and would like if one of the experts on here could take a look at these two ride profiles and...

Re: Battery Reading 275 or less
Alright, did my recovery ride and it was the speed sensor being too far away from the cadence magnet. It is not a battery issue but I did read somewhere that you can save batteries from the winter and they'll work again in the spring, or did I misread that? The only issue I would like you all to loo...

Re: Battery Reading 275 or less
John, I don't have any ride files from yesterday because it did not record anything. I did another quick look at it on my set up and the Speed Sensor may have been knocked off of position the slightest which prevented it from picking up the speed sensor as a small adjustment was able to get readings...

Battery Reading 275 or less
This morning on my ride I got no power/speed readings during my ride. It was an epic fail during my four hour ride with my coach. Everything was done properly and even stopped repeatedly to redo the win and tilt calibrations to no avail. When I turned it on iBike the battery test said "Batt Goo...

Analysis of Rides
Could anyone provide me the link that talks about all this analysis stuff that the iBike software does when you download the ride into the software? If there isn't couldn't is there anyone who could provide me the background on what all that stuff is. I'll preface this by saying I'm catching up to a...

Re: Happy New Year

Re: Trainer Mode Turns Off when Riding
Allowing it to do a Wind Cal did the trick! I've never had to do it before and don't remember ever reading about having to do it but either way it's good to go!!
Thanks for the quick help!

Re: Trainer Mode Turns Off when Riding
Thanks Fernando, I don't think I did any resets or anything like that. I only changed the battery. I'll go through the whole set up sequence again and hopefully that'll help. I've been using my iBike for a few months now to include the trainer mode but this was the first time. Just very random! Hope...

Trainer Mode Turns Off when Riding
I know this topic was addressed a few years back but wanted to put it out there again. I started my trainer workout tonight and immediately my iBike went to "Trainer Off" even though I had put on the trainer setting. I replaced the battery on the iBike since it was down to 267 but still ga...

Re: Compatible Trainers Update
I have a CycleOps Mag trainer and will be purchasing the firmware when I get back from vacation this week. What is the difference between the high and lower? I have no clue or how to determine which is for what??

Re: Tilt Calibration/Cal Ride-Coast Down Data
I'm going to post a few "newbie" questions here so I don't make a million different threads with dumb questions: On the "Power Screen" the top 1/3 is the MPH, the bottom 1/3 is the Cadence/HR the middle 1/3 is your watts. My question is what does the small number on the bottom ri...

Re: Tilt Calibration/Cal Ride-Coast Down Data
Thanks a lot guys! Much appreciated and I definitely understand the necessary purpose of the WKO+ software! I'm still not sure if I'm going to make an adjustment yet but happy it's not going to make a significant difference and it'll be easy to re calibrate to be more accurate!

Tilt Calibration/Cal Ride-Coast Down Data
I am new to the iBike and so far I really like it. I've got most of the calibration/coast down stuff figured out but I have a few questions which are probably very easy to answer but can't get a clear answer from the manuals. Tilt Calibration I make a slight change to my hand set up where I am going...
