Power output
When using the GT firmware update to send the power out via the ANT+ interface, is it raw power or is it the same 5s, 10s averaging that is set on the newton?

Custom Trainer settings + suggustion
With the update to the Powerhouse App (version 2.00) there is the ability to add trainers. I did not see me trainer listed (wahoo fitness Kickr) so I went to the custom section. What does the fields A, B, C and D represent? Any plans to allow pairing up power output from the Wahoo Fitness Kicker? In...

Re: rgvcycling.com ibike-newton glowing review!
Hey that's me! Yes, I've used the Dash+Power, Powerhouse and now the Newton. I just love using it and I think I got the night-time riding problem fixed. Just need to try it out and see how it goes.

I pair up the Newton to my Strava app directly and do it that way. You just need the ANT+ dongle from Wahoo and your set to go.

Re: can't open gpx or csv file for merge
Hey thanks Fernando, it worked fine now. I dunno how it generated laps since I didn't click on any lap button. I'll have to look at the file closer next time.

Re: can't open gpx or csv file for merge
Hmm, I cannot upload a gpx file to this board. Says the extension gpx is not allowed. I'll rename it and give it a .txt extension and upload it. Ok, I can't upload a .txt file either.

Re: can't open gpx or csv file for merge
This was recorded using Cyclemeter iPhone app version 9.1.3 and exported the ride as csv and gpx. I tried open the gpx version of the same ride and got the same error message, but Strava can read the same gpx file.

Do you still have to wait for a relatively calm day to do this (wind < 10 mph)?

weight loss and calibration ride
Just wondering if weight loss will affect the power readings in either iDash+Power or Powerhouse and if I will need to do a calibration ride after lose x amount of pounds? If so, what is the trigger point where I would need to redo the calibration ride?

Sometimes that happens to me. What I do is I kill the application and all other applications. Take the phone out of the case and back in and restart the PH app. Should be working again.

Re: Feature suggestions
I have two more suggestions that I have for the Powerhouse system: 1. During the ride/workout have a auto stop/start feature ... I usually ride out to the location where I'm free of city traffic but until then I'm stuck at several signal lights. Sometime I manually pause the recording and then forge...

Powerhouse Slim stuck at Rest Day
Powerhouse v1.7(37) Hi, I finished the Slim and restarted over again and today was the first Rest Day on the schedule. I could not figure out how to skip it and go on to the next workout. I clicked on Free Ride at the bottom of the screen to get to the Free Ride display. I circled the street a few t...

Ya I know! I think they missed the boat for winter training. Still, there are times when an indoor trainer is needed for one reason or another.
Thanks for looking into this. Y'all are the best!

I just did a fitness test today and was expecting to upload the ride to Strava but it was not there (iSlim plan). When I click the "i" at the top right of screen the previous ride is shown. How do I find and upload it?

Software development is a never ending cycle and to contribute to that here is a small wish list: 1. Allow to upload fitness test to Strava ... every ride and every mile counts in record keeping 2. More plans such as doing your first metric century ride or enter miles to achieve and come up with a p...

Hey, that's a good question ... perhaps a future enhancement where you can go back to the previous workout and redo it or something like that.

Fitness Test and Wind
I think my last post on this got lost in the forum shuffle, so I'll repost it again. I live in a windy area where the winds are typically in the 10-20 mph range with the terrain fairly flat. Does strong winds affect the Fitness Test? Should I ride with or against the wind when doing the test? Should...

It doesn't support HR. I tried to sync mine and it didn't pick it up. It did find my cadence and speed unit.

Re: Mount options
I had to get a longer bolt and add some washers. I used the washers to raise the unit high enough to clear the bar stem. Other than that it works fine with me. Case does rattle against the Bar stem bolts but I put some little rubber pads underneath and that quieted it.

Powerhouse suggestion
Hello, I've been using the Powerhouse Application the last few rides and really love going through the sessions. One thing I would suggest is to change the color of the TARGET CADENCE. When out riding, I find it difficult to read the suggested target. Everything else I can read fine in the bright su...

That's what I suspect as well. I'll see if i can do a ride at the location and stop it when I'm done with the program and see what I get.
