Definitely the Gen II over the VRK. The VRK is a workaround to the problem, the Gen II is the fix.
Both are more important to on-bike power reporting, though the downloaded data will improve as well.

TommyT: I did the same kind of stuff when I first got my iBike. If you want to use Kreuzotter to verify your power numbers, then the climb needs to be quite steep, at least 7% and more even better. As others have said, that site has to make a lot of generalized assumptions to estimate your CdA. Are ...
