Re: Tilt good, then bad, then good again
...suspect a mounting or mount issue. David can you or someone elaborate on the mount issue. The mounting issue is limited to 4 possibilities: 1. bad or no sticky tape on bars 2. bad or no stick on mount 3. mount not cranked down to the max 4. combo of 1-3 So what are the mount issues not related t...

Re: Understanding Analyze Advanced settings: Tilt
Thanks for spotting that I had an extra step. Not sure what I was thinking, other than going to bed. Your explaination is what I plan on doing today after work. The wind has been way down since Monday, so it will be a good day for the 4mi. What I was describing above is what I did on Sat am before t...

Re: Understanding Analyze Advanced settings: Tilt
Yep, that is the explaination I was looking for. Just alittle confused by my set up procedures that is all. I went through new 3M/crank down procedure; tilt/offset; 11 CDs and 4mi. Afterwards, my Crr and cda looked high (as RIchard pointed out), but my tilt slope was up and my PE and wattage read ou...

Re: Understanding Analyze Advanced settings: Tilt
......Whenever you download a ride and iBike2 finds the matching profile for it, iBike2 subtracts this riding tilt from your ride data so that you should see a valid slope signal that comes close to matching what it should be based on the elevation profile of the ride even before doing the tilt cor...

Re: The when & how of using wind offset analyze feature
Travis, Many thanks for the in-depth response. I understand what the functionality and how it can be used or misused to align oneself with the outdoor conditions. I definitely put my iBIke outside (the garage) so it gets to outdoor temp while I get my bottles ready, dress, etc. Then I go into the ga...

Re: iBike within wireless mount have play
Just read some old threads and it looks like my CDs are an issue...Richard pointed this out a few weeks back :o So as soon as the wind dies down or I do CDs at 3am I will have to ignore my numbers for a few more days or so. Re: iBike within wireless mount have play
Did the new 3M stips and tape on mount. New tilt numbers have gone down to 550....down from Sat' ride of 2200. Good to see these numbers going down as that seems to be good. Don't really know cuz the manual and support give no feedback so just guessing here. However, don't really put stock into it u...

...... 1000' of positive tilt slope (if that is the right term). So when you get home you end up being disappointed at the wattage numbers. Yep this is exactly where my tilt stops. I am split down the middle: 1. Riding outside of Houston is ok with me, anywhere not flat is great 8-) 2. iBike within wireless mount have play
While working on putting down some new 3M sticky tape, I noticed that my iBIke has a bit of play while in the mount. I am not talking about the mount moving, but rather you can move the iBike back and forth within the mount itself while the mount is cramped down. My tilt numbers have been whacked an...

I didn't install the 3M because when I went to remove my iBike from my bike, I noticed that it moves in the mount. Not the mount moving, but the iBIke has play in the mount. Thanks rIchard, that was my fallback just to go and look for something that was similar to the violin shaped sticky iBike provides. I tested velcro and while it sticks great, it does (barely move), so I ruled it out.

Recommendation for sticky tape needed
My iBike sticky tape/pad are just about wore out (from moving it from different HBs I was testing over recent months). Has anybody tried anything different or what do you recommend. The when & how of using wind offset analyze feature
When should one use the WO analyze feature in IB2? Do I use the wind offset or the avg ground speed box to insert the value from WU? The example...
