Re: WARNING: DO NOT UPGRADE YOUR MAC TO macOS 11.4
As I don't visit this forum frequently, I missed this before upgrading. Are you working on a fix for this? Do you need a crash log? For what it's worth, I noticed that after upgrading to macOS Big Sur a few weeks ago that the kernelmanagerd process was running significantly all the time (ca. 50% CPU...

Re: Can you remove DFPM ID from a calibration on Newton
Thanks, John. I've edited the profile in the Isaac software and will see if it works.

Can you remove DFPM ID from a calibration on Newton
I had some issues on a ride where I chose to do a sensor search on my Newton 5. I was in range of some other cyclists that had a DFPM and I think that got associated with the profile. I have tried repeatedly to do the sensor search completely out of range of any other bike and the profile first says...

Re: Is this ground wind analysis correct?
Russ:
Thanks for the clarification. That makes sense to me that the drafting portion are like a tailwind. Just wanted to understand the calculations better.
Cheers, David

Is this ground wind analysis correct?
I did a ride on a pace line today and when I did the Analyze Route today, Isaac calculated an average ground wind speed of -8.9 mph. I did tick the "Drafting In This Ride" box. Since this was a very early morning ride, I know there was no ground wind to speak of. A screenshot of the Analyz...

I attached the IBR file in the original posting. Tell me if you can't see it.
Thanks, David

Power data off for 2/3 of ride: wind sensor issue?
I rode a century today where we started in fog and temperatures around 54-57 F for the first 40 miles, then rising to the mid 60's by 60 miles. After 60 miles, things seemed to be well behaved. Looking at the Newton IBR file, it appears that the wind values are way off for those first 60 miles (>80 ...
