who uses what smoothing on there ibike 6 for undulating TT? nice to not have jumpy but yet you need response . dps , 5sec , 10sec??

i just got my newton 6 upgrade. looking inside port on the front compared to my wives 6 hers has a white circle filter thing in roof of port but my new upgrade has not? anyone know why? John?

yer thanks john. to be honest i was about to give up on ibike as a TT powermeter. but working it out was the key. i,ve owned powertaps and ridden srm before and can say the ibike is up there with them and better in some ways.

i,ve had mine running between tt bars to the bar end shifters but think vibration of hose and funnel end is a problem. once up to speed on rough roads my power numbers seem to die then go up n down and even hit zero from time to time. how did you get on?

why are my power numbers jumpy when riding along a flat road? even with 10 sec and 30 sec smoothing. the numbers will be sitting smooth lets say 200w then for no reason drop to 120w for a short time or even climb to 250w when i am putting same pressure on pedal and road is flat? my sensor is set up ...

RWS vs none. same accuracy?
i use my ibike on my TT bike with RWS and on my standard road and mtb without RWS. it seem to get less fluctuations on the non rws setups. does any one else find this?

i update all the time. bodyweight change with ride gear/backpack. change on edit profile section on isaac and send to unit then hit accept

yep. my wife and i use on mtb with the out front mount. we have not raced with them but do most of our training on dirt roads/climbs. all good
