Re: Elite Turbo Muin trainer power coefficients
Hi. I still have a problem with using this trainer with my PP. The nature of its speed sensor requires the wheel diameter to be set to the actual diameter divided by 13.2, which equates to about 159mm. In Isaac, I can only find a way to set the wheel diameter by using tyre markings, I cannot see any...

Re: Elite Turbo Muin trainer power coefficients
Actually, I've just done some more poking around in Isaac and my question is now different. I've set the Trainer Coefficient window to Metric and entered the values as per the above formula, and that has displayed a curve which looks to have the correct mappings. However, I'm not sure how to save th...

Elite Turbo Muin trainer power coefficients
Hi. I have just bought the Elite Turbo Muin turbo trainer. The power curve formula for this trainer, for models built 2014 and later is POWER=(5+1.02*{speed}+0.001*{speed}2+0.015436*{speed}3) where speed is in km/h. What would the coefficients be so that the formula works for MPH? Also - any chance ...

Trainer Mode remains On even after setting it to Off
If you are using the same bike for indoor AND outdoor rides, then you should have only one profile. When you switch from indoor to outdoor mode using Isaac, your single profile will "memorize" the setting most recently used. Effectively, your suggestion is already implemented for this sce...

Re: Power goes up freewheeling downhill and down when going
Hi John. I think I've previously run into this problem, as per http://www.ibikeforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=93&t=3762. I guess the obvious question here is whether you could change the firmware so that the trainer on/off setting is independent of individual profiles. I believe that would be much mo...

Calibrating indoor trainer mode
Hi. I have a Minoura Hypermag turbo trainer, which I usually use on setting 4. I've selected "Minoura HYPER-MAG-1200R (4)" as my trainer in Isaac. However, judging by perceived effort, the PP is grossly over-estimating my power output when in indoor trainer mode, I'd say by around 25%. I'v...

Re: Calibration
Hopefully I'm not speaking out of turn here... 1. When you attach the PP to the bike, always push the rear of it down and the front of it up as far as it will go, before tightening the mount. The flat edge on the mounting lugs should then ensure that the device is always mounted at exactly the same ...

Re: PP unexpectedly in Indoor Trainer Mode
OK, I'll do that. Just so I'm clear about what I need to do, if I use Isaac to set the appropriate profile in the PP, and then do the 4 second press to pair with the appropriate sensor, will that retain the other parameters in the profile without the need to do a new calibration ride on each bike? T...

Re: PP unexpectedly in Indoor Trainer Mode
These two files have different wind scaling factors but identical sensor IDs. Are you using the same speed/cadence sensor on both bikes? Something is not right... That is really odd! "Ride 2" was on a bike with PP mounted under the handlebar, and which has sensor ID 13872. Today's ride, &...

PP unexpectedly in Indoor Trainer Mode
My last three rides were as follows: 1 - Turbo session on Bike 1 with PP Indoor Trainer Mode turned on 2 - Outdoor ride on Bike 1 with PP Indoor Trainer Mode turned off 3 - Outdoor ride on Bike 2, with no change to the PP settings Rides 1 and 2 were fine. However, on Ride 3, it was clear that the po...
