Re: Issues adding second bike (mtn bike)
I guess I'll switch out the batteries though the garmin says the batteries are ok. I guess I could also watch the cadence numbers to see if they go to zero during calibration while pedalling. I'm wondering if my dynamo front hub could be causing any kind of interference - I've read anecdotal things ...

Re: Issues adding second bike (mtn bike)
I'll re-iterate that this is during the O&B calibration - on my gravel bike I do not believe I ever see the countup from 1 to 100 ever go to zero during the calibration ride.

Re: Issues adding second bike (mtn bike)
OK. After changing the speed sensor to the manual wheel size. I went into isaac and also changed the powerstroke pedal position to not set and applied that to hopefully force a recalibration. Took off and it was doing a recalibration as expected. On the outbound leg, had an initial couple of 1 secon...

Re: Issues adding second bike (mtn bike)
OK, more information: the garmin speed sensor auto calibration had 2267mm, while I measure it(at 30PSI) as 2355 At about 20PSI, I measure it at 2351mm. So I wonder if this is part of the issue, especially the data about high wind speed? Presumably the bad calibration is due to my rear hub being a ro...

Re: Issues adding second bike (mtn bike)
Here are 2 parts of a ride yesterday. I actually had turned off the connection to the powerpod from the garmin a couple of miles into the ride as it was just showing 0 most of the time except for a couple of odd spikes on basically flat urban road riding on the MTB. The 15 mile ride is the first par...

Issues adding second bike (mtn bike)
I'm trying to add a second bike, a rigid 29er MTB with 29x2.35". The calibration process acts oddly with frequent stops in the updating of the power numbers as it increases (often goes to 0), then jumps up to a higher number than it was before. I finally got one to complete, connected it to isa...

Should I customize my settings for my gravel bike with 27.5 2.1" mtn bike tires?
I recently updated to the latest firmware and did the full calibration. I've attached a couple of road rides and the profile.
From reading on the forum, sounds like I might be better off if I customize the settings as I am using MTB tires on my gravel bike?
cheers

Re: powerpod and 2nd bike - no longer connects to garmin e10
It was odd - my garmin has been rock solid for the last 2 years, strange coincidence that it started acting odd when setting up a second bike for my powerpod!

Re: What triggers 8 minute recalibration?
Does connecting it to a PC and downloading rides with Isaac help reduce that 20 minutes between bikes issue? Or does one just have to manually force which profile with isaac to do that.

Re: powerpod and 2nd bike - no longer connects to garmin e10
ok, looks like my edge 1000 was just in an odd state, even after reformatting the external SD card, had to power cycle it a few times before it would mount as a usb storage device. Now it can see the power pod again. Might be some issue related to the recent 10.0 firmware? Though I think that was a ...

Re: powerpod and 2nd bike - no longer connects to garmin e10
Yep, the profiles show different sensor id's for the 2 profiles in isaac. Though I noticed my garmin being weird saving rides the last 2 days, so I just reformatted my SD card in it to see if perhaps it was having some issue there.

powerpod and 2nd bike - no longer connects to garmin e1000
I just setup a second profile for my road bike, and it is not connecting to my garmin edge 1000. It was fine before this. Basically once I paired to the road bike sensors, then clicked it so it became green, it never showed up on my garmin. Then went into calibration mode so I did a calibration ride...

powerpod and 650b tires
Hello, My road bike uses 650b tires that are 41mm wide. My handlebar is a flat moustache style, I assume setting "hoods" as my position is the best I can do? My mtn bike (fully rigid) is a 29er with 3" front wheel and 2.4" rear. What tire setting should I use for that? I use jone...

Re: Power Pod not measuring power on the flat or downhill
My newish PowerPod almost always shows zero watts on downhill runs even while I'm pedaling while normally showing non-zero on flats and climbs.
