Re: Garmin 820 signal dropouts
I will keep you up do date with my next ride but it will be in the weekend if is a good weather. :) As I told you, Garmin released a new upgrade for Edge 820 (my unit was already upgraded to 7.00) and I will keep my eyes on my power values like Chris Froome! :D If you accept a suggestion, do not upd...

Re: Garmin 820 signal dropouts
My PP is only an ANT+ version and I did not purchased a BLE key.
My only BLE connection is between Garmin 820 and my phone.
The connections: sensors to PP, PP to Garmin and sensors to Garmin are on ANT+

Re: Garmin 820 signal dropouts
I noticed similar issues regarding "--W" versus "0 W" using my Garmin 820. So I'm keep my eyes on this thread. :) As details, my sensor is a Bontrager Combo (Only ANT+) and I have only the ANT+ version of PP. Yesterday I upgraded the 820 to the latest firmware (7.00). I do not kn...

Re: Start stop riding - affect on PP when it powers off
I do not want to interfere with the Velocomp support but I have a suggestion. I had the same problem with one week ago but it was not the PP fault. I discovered that my Garmin (Edge 820) disconnected the PP after an hour stop (the power sensor switch was off). Why??? I do not know... So, I enable th...

Re: How can I change a sensor?
Hi!
Put your new HRM on you and do a new sensor pairing again. Should be enough. After that, to be sure, connect the PP to Isaac and, in your active profile, load the sensors ID from the PP (is a dedicated button in the sensors tab) to see if the old values was changed.
Stay safe and ride hard!

Re: Battery life issue? Or something else?
Did the flashing red light go out? Here is the history and also the message that was sent to support. Yesterday I calibrate the PP with an out&back ride for my second bike. No problem with that! Today morning I had the following issue. The PP did not powered up. Yesterday, after downloading the...

It looks that I have the same problem. Yesterday I sent a message to Velocomp support and I'm waiting for the answer...
Meanwhile, the battery was charged for 3 hours and today I will check the discharging during a one hour indoor ride (yup, it rains outside).

Re: First outdoor ride. Need assistance!
It is not a magnet less sensor. It's a combo sensor mounted on the left chainstay.
The same sensor was used (in the same position) for indoor training and I did not noticed so many dropouts.
Those dropouts could be a matter of radio waves interference?

Re: Heart rate straps...
I'm using a two years old Decathlon ANT+ only HR and I had no problem with it. No signal losing on PP and Garmin Edge. Still with the original battery inside, 4 to 8 hours usage per week.

First outdoor ride. Need assistance!
Hi! This is the first outdoor ride. Until today I used PP only on hometrainer or roller. Could you please take a look to my ride to see if is OK? It was O&B calibrated with few days ago. The 108km ride had a coffee break almost at the middle so PP recorded two rides. What I do not understand is ...

Re: One problem (0w reading) and few questions
Meanwhile, here is the Tom's answer to my e-mail message to PP support 1. How can I turn the device off? Is auto-off in 20 min.? It times out on its own. 2. Should I activate the trainer mode before every session? The unit will remain in trainer mode, until you turn it off. 3. Turning the device on,...

One problem (0w reading) and few questions
Hi Tom! Hi guys! :) First usage of PowerPod but due to local weather it was only a roller training. :) First, this is the problem that I had: My GPS is a Garmin Edge 510 and I notice, during the roller training, that sometimes the Garmin lost the PowerPod signal displaying 0W. The PowerPod was not m...
