Re: Powerpod wrong readings.
Hi again John. Before the ride I rinsed the PP portal and let it dry. Then I started the ride and I think everything is back to normal :D Maybe some kind of bug was inside or something... I´ve got my little magic box back and all is well! Take a look at the ride and give me some feedback just to mak...

Re: Powerpod wrong readings.
Managed to download the start of the ride: problems started around km 15,8.
Just to make sure: the PP didn't move from its original position (letters paralell to the floor) and there was nothing blocking the wind portal.

Re: Powerpod wrong readings.
Hi John. Well, it was good while it lasted. Today I went on a ride and after 16 km, in a 9% hill, PP started to show the same symptoms again: low power with increasing effort with long 0 power readings and a 1581 max power reading on a downhill! I turned it off and on again and it continued. I only ...

Almost bit the bait
Hi guys. I feel like sharing this: marketing is truly a powerful thing. Just last week I was browsing around for bike equipment (like we love to do  ) and was dazzled by how many DFPM are out there at good prices. So, now that I know how beneficial training with power is, I was in the process ...

New cal ride
Hi John,
Due to changes in weight I decided to do nother cal ride today in one of my bikes.
Would like to know if everything is OK (it seemed so in the ride after).
Best regards.

Red light
Hi John.
Today I went riding and when I turned PP on it went solid green. When I started riding it showed the power normally but all along the ride the red light was blinking non stop.
When I went home to download the data it didn´t record the ride.
What can it be?

New bike cal ride
Hi John. Today I paired PP with a new bike and sensors. Could you tell me if it is OK? Also, I attached the following 2 rides. Around the 63km of the first ride PP stoped reading the Power. I turned it off and after 5 minutes turned it on again and it seemed to be Ok. Could it be because of the heav...

Re: Powerpod wrong readings.
Yes, it is very secure. I just finished a new ride with another bike and equipment: GARMIN 705 with fresh sensors. So all variables changed except the PP. 1. Set up PP with new profile 2. Attached it very securely to bike 3. PP steady red 4. new pairing with new sensors 5. steady green, press and ye...

Re: Powerpod wrong readings.
OK. That could be an explanation. But it is not possible that after using 3 diferente set of cadence sensors all of them are turning off ( 2 of them are new garmin sensors latest model). Also, that does not explain the inverted slope readings: I dont believe that during almost max efforts on hills t...

Re: Powerpod wrong readings.
Hi. Today I did a hard reset and rode 34km. The problems remain the same: - see km 16 and 31,5 for power without cadence - see km 29 to 31 for rising HR and elevation with decreased power and slope Also, the date changed to 15/11/2017 after the hard reset . Don´t know if this is common or not. What ...

Hi. I did that already before the shown two cal rides: 1 - Hard reset 2 - Ride with cal 1-100 (next ride same problems) 3- Reset profile 1 (with mine and the bikes specifications and next 'best accuracy') 4- Cal ride (16-12-2017: next ride with same problems) 5- New reset profile 1 6- Cal ride (17-1...

Re: Powerpod wrong readings.
Hi again. So, i did two cal rides. One yesterday followed by a short ride that showed me the problems remained. So, this morning I did another one followed by a longer ride. After this ride I observed the two problems still remained: - high power readings on longer descents with 0 cadence (above 300...

Hi again.
Tom responded and everything is OK now.
I attach some of the rides that I did on the 9th and 10th with Powerpod.
They where all little rides because I was trying to figure out what was going on.
Regards.

Powerpod wrong readings.
Hello. I have the following problem with my powerpod: it started showing weird readings after months without using it like very low watts (ex. on a 8% hill at 13km/h with cadence above 65 it showed between 50 and 70 watts), so I thought it might be the GSC10 sensors I was using on a new bike with my...
