Sensor Technologies for Determining Cyclist Power Output
Hi! I stumbled across a thesis that compares results between PP, Stages and a GPS App (Innovative App Design). You can read it here: https://spatial.usc.edu/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Daniels_Douglas.pdf The conclusions are very positive for PP, but I think that there is a source of error that the a...

Re: PowerHouse pairing
Hi John.
I guess it was an installation issue with the app. I installed twice again until it worked.
Tried the 'weekend warrior' plan and bought it!
Great stuff.
Best regards.

Re: PowerHouse pairing
My smartphone paired nicely with PP, but PH App won´t. After the data input, I chose the 'Weekend warrior' program, followed the steps, but in the 'scan for sensors' step a bottom note appears: 'Need coarse location permission'. I dont know what that means, but I press the 'scan for sensors' button ...

Re: PP calibration
Hi again John. I just used the tool that you mentioned in another post and the Power values are very far from those of PP. I attached two print screens: 1 - tool analysis of data at 20km of the ride (bike weight is 10kg and I input wind at -15 km/h, because Isaac shows 24,7 km/h tail wind): 152W 2 -...

PP calibration
Hi there! I recently bought a V2 PP from Masecori, but after 1 month I sent it back because the USB portal didn´t connect well with the cable and, therefore, with Isaac or with the computer to charge. They sent me, what it seems, a used one that is the BLE version. When I went to do the 'Best accura...

Re: New PP Calibration
These are my doubts using the 641 firmware: 1 - Can I do what I mentioned in my last post to change settings in the same profile (ex. if I loose weight); 2 - To add another profile/ bike do I press PP for 4 sec to do an OB ride with the new bike/ sensors and then extract the ride from PP or, 2.1 - D...

Re: New PP Calibration
Hi again John.
Here is the file.
I would like to change the calibration weight to 83kg. Should I do: Edit profile/ Advanced/ change the weight/Accept/ Send to device?
Best regards.

Re: New PP Calibration
Hi again, Last week I paired PP to another bike (and sensors), but today when I returned to the first bike the PP didn´t recognize the sensors. I pressed PP after all the sensors were paired with the Garmin and the light was a steady red. Tried it a few more times and the same happened. I had to do ...

Re: New PP Calibration
Yes, there was a strong wind on my way back.
I didn´t feel it was that strong during the cal. process, but was concerned it could have messed up things.
Thanks and have a nice weekend.

New PP Calibration
Hello, I just bought a new PP V2 and updated with the latest firmware.
I loaded the following data in to the Isaac software:
- rider weight: 73kg
- bike weight: 10 kg
Did the out and back calibration ride. I post here the following ride and would like to know if it is OK.
Best regards.
Thanks.
