Trainer, Flywheel Acceleration
I'm using a lemond revolution as a 'dumb' trainer. It's a large flywheel that acts as a fan. I have a reasonable curve for the fan characteristics and except for ambient temp/pressure changes it feels / seems accurate relative to my performance on the road. What it lacks is any changes due to accele...

Re: Capabilities of PowerPod's continuous calibration/correction?
Similarly, PP won't "know" that you've changed ride positions (how could it know?). Most riders ride in the same position most of the time, so this isn't a big deal. Could the PP "know" by signal strength to a chest strap heart rate monitor? Not sure if the PP has the ability to...

Re: Crr Value not Taking
I definitely knocked it out of position and thought I had returned it back to the original stop. I'm not sure why the PowerPod didn't fully take the profile with the bike sitting in a stand, but things appear all good again.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Crr Value not Taking
I've recently had some problems where the PowerPod shows extremely low power or zero. I've tracked it down to the profile somehow becoming corrupted with a Crr that is negative, but when I push a 'good' profile from Isaac back to the PowerPod it won't take the full profile only parts of it. Starting...

Re: Intermittent drops in cadence
Check your firmware using Isaac and update if needed. Cadence sensor drop in reading was an issue prior to 8.00. Latest is 8.01:

Re: Erratic (mostly zero) and Cal Check
Fixed! Somehow my Crr became a relatively large negative number (~-.034 compared to +.0054). This was giving me a 'motorized boost' of ~300 watts that I had to overcome for the PP to give me a number above zero. Otherwise the PP just reported zero. For some reason this was not simple to correct. Whe...

Erratic (mostly zero) and Cal Check
Yesterday my powerpod started outputing really low power values (like zero for extended durations). This was confirmed in Isaac and not just on my head unit. It would only show brief power spikes during moderate to high efforts. Uphill and downhill wasn't a big contributor, so I went over to a local...
