Based on the picture it seems like a regular low-angle stem mount would be more appropriate for your stem angle. As I understand a slight up-angle (no more than 10-12 degrees is fine for the low-angle, plus you'll be able to see the screen better.

Most likely it was low battery voltage. We say in the owner's manual that tilt readings can go crazy with low battery voltage. In order to pickup the Garmin combined speed/cadence ANT+Sport sensor you need to have the iBike "G" firmware installed on your iBike unit. It transmits a different signal than the individual speed and cadence ANT+Sport sensors.

I would suggest not attaching your iBike to the Aero Bar - I tried that once and I found that vibration and the bar flex gave poor results. I have use the Topeak extension with good results or now I have moved to a stem mount wireless on my TT bike. Are you able to get clean air for the wind sensor...

I'm seeing this also. New batteries are initially showing just under 3V but quickly deteriorate to 2.75 range.

I guess I need to have a conversation with John then since the batteries that are causing me problem ARE the Panasonics (brand new) that came with my iAero and wireless mounts.

I was going faster than the wind, but iBike was still reporting too low a wind value... perhaps this is due to my battery issues?

But the question still remains why a brand-new battery that is putting out 3V is being reported by the iAero as less than 2.75V, thus not acceptable for use with iAero.
