Analyze Wind
When I select "Auto Analyze" for a ride file and afterward navigates to the detailed tab and select Analyze Wind then I see a field at the bottom called Wind Offset. This field always have the value -3.2 and I am wondering what it means and where it got that number from?

Re: Snapshot CdA's
I went into setup and turned the CdA feature on and off a couple of times and now it is working. Strange. Next question :-) How should these snapshot CdA's be interpreted? In my profile I have a CdA of 0.393. When I did 3 snapshot CdA's today I got the following values: 0.51, 0.71, and 0.73. What ar...

Re: Snapshot CdA's
I am also having problems getting a Snapshot CdA. I use the Garmin heart rate strap and combined speed/cadence sensor and when I coast down a hill with the power window on the iAero I don't see a Snapshot CdA. I am not pedaling, cadence is 0, and I don't move for 20 seconds while going downhill. Any...

Re: Validation of Coast down and 4-mile ride data
Thanks for the feedback. I am however still looking for a way to validate a calibration ride by looking at the output numbers, e.g. that CdA is within a certain interval or similar.

Re: Validation of Coast down and 4-mile ride data
I am not sure how to measure the difference in the 2 calibration rides. Here are the coefficients from the first ride Aero 0,294 Fric 11,628 Wind Scaling 0,872 Riding Tilt -1,354 CdA 0,337 Crr 0,0017 and for the second ride I got Aero 0,299 Fric 11,463 Wind Scaling 0,755 Riding Tilt -1,096 CdA 0,395...

Validation of Coast down and 4-mile ride data
I just got my new iAero :-) and I have been doing 2 calibration rides each consisting of about 10 coast downs followed by the 4-mile ride. The big question is now how do I validate the profiles created on the basis on these data. Can I somehow by looking at all the numbers tell if one calibration ri...

Re: Garmin 705
Now I don't have a Edge 705 but I have just paired my Garmin speed/cadence sensor with my new iAero and on the cd that came with the iAero there is a document called Garmin Pairing Instructions. The last section in this document described the setup to the 705 to receive iBike power data.

Sensitivity analysis of total weight and wheel circumference
I just started using my new iAero today. I installed it and did all the steps in the calibration procedure. I am thinking about making some sort of sensitivity analysis of the importance of total weight and wheel circumference in the profiles. Does anyone know how important it is to get these 2 numb...
