Re: Sensors search for new profile
Doing the scan (top + bottom buttons) did the trick. I never added a new bike on 5.x, so this was new to me. Well, guilty as charged, there is a section in the manual explaining the forced scan. The few seconds ride when downloaded to Isaac recognized new Wireless IDs, and properly enabled SPCD comb...

Sensors search for new profile
I am trying to setup a new bike (with new sensors) on an unused profile with Newton 5.08. The problem is that Newton would not go and search/find sensors. I tried first without touching the profile, then setting as new profile [in Isaac/Device/Set Up Newton], then by overwriting it with an existing ...

Download data missing
With 2.7.0 Isaac (for Mac) and 4.14 FW Newton, when I have multiple files to download the, I select "Download and Save" option, but occasionally there will be a missing file in my download folder. I used to have "Erase when Done" selected, so there was no way to get the data. Now...

Re: '14 data error' message
still-chasing, has your issue been resolved? I had a several occasions of Newton freezing in last two weeks. Not sure if it is related to the unit, or maybe to the latest 4.08 FW. It started out with freezing during the charging, while connected to USB. Also experienced message "The iBike unit ...

Is there a difference in temperature readings (and its effects on other measurements) between black and white Newton models?

Re: charging is not supported with this accessory
I am having similar issue, but without the message "charging is not supported ...". I have 3 batteries, and they all seem to give boost for a very short time, for example 100% of iPhone charge lasts to 96-97%, and then charging symbol disappears. If I take the battery out of the iDash, and...

Re: Major iBike app update 1.0.6 now available
I removed the app, then brought it back by re-syncing with iTunes. After entering bike data, still the same problem. I removed the app, and made a clean install through App store, the same problem. I tried Setting reference elevation to 45m, exit the Advanced options, Done, back to User Screen with ...

Re: Major iBike app update 1.0.6 now available
Looks like metric system is still not fixed. Setting reference elevation still thinks it is in feet.

iBike app 1.0.5
Was there any info listing the bugs addressed in 1.0.5? I complained earlier about 1.0.4 not addressing the metric system properly. It turned out that my iBike app update was responsible. I had to remove the app and reinstall and retype bike settings. Now, I can see that elevation in metric system i...

Re: Version 1.0.4 of the iBike app is now available
Was the metric elevation issue addressed in 1.0.4? I still see that Elevation and Climbing numbers are counted in feet in the app, and converted to meters in the iBike SW.
Also, the exit from app and return resets the TSS and IF counters.

Re: iBike app update is coming
It looks like the metric system is not fixed in 1.0.3, the displayed numbers (elevation, climbing, temp) are still in english units. Also, I have noticed it is not possible to tap and hold the screen, to end the ride. The only way is to close the application, and reload, go to Options/SendRideFile t...

Re: Dash, not great battery life in my hands
I am on iPhone 3GS a bit over 1 year old model, and have done various tests with BT on/off, Wifi on/off, 3G on/off, and GPS on/off. I get great life in Airplane mode, but not feel comfortable doing longer rides with any options on, ie listening to music via BT. When I start turning them off, as expe...

Re: Dash, not great battery life in my hands
Foothills Rider, I have the opposite experience. On the sunny sunny days, I have to crank up the brightness to the MAX to see anything, and during the evenings and nights is back to minimum, to see the road ahead of me

Dash sensors
I posted few questions about the iBike App, but have few more questions/comments about something that could be Dash sensors related. Not sure if anyone else experienced it, or is it just on my Dash. - The temperature reading (in degF only) seems to be always higher by 10 to 15 degrees that what is o...

Re: iBike app is available!
I think following questions/comments may be possible iBike app bugs: - Zeroing the wind will end the ride Actually, you don't even have to hit the Zero button, just entering this screen will end the ride. - Setting reference height will end the ride, after the button "Set Reference Elevation&qu...

Re: iBike Dash Instructions
After switching from iBike Aero to Dash about a three weeks ago, I am very impressed with the new product. Took a few retries to get a good cal ride (mostly due to changing wind conditions and heavy traffic), so the power readings (especially using the gauge display) are looking good. However, there...

Re: iBike app is available!
Every time I enter the "Configure User Screens", the app exits. Just started using the Dash, but not sure if the option to configure screens is available, or if there is a way to submit the diagnostics or log. Using iPhone 3GS.

Re: Firmware 309 is coming
I may be wrong, but Gen2 remembers data/time after replacing battery, where Gen3 resets date and time. A minor annoyance if battery has to be replaced while away from PC, but would be nice to bring it back.

Re: File Format Change/ New column?
Not sure if this is the right subject to post. Last two files I downloaded from Gen3, have produced some missing entries in the CSV file: M4=0, N4=0, and R4=Inf (tilt, weigt, and Crr). If I let autocorrection to run after download, there is no power in the graph. If I prevent autocorrection, and reo...
