Re: Restore original downloded file
The ibr file saved on my pc is the updated version, following the addition of GPS date from my Garmin computer. I've tried using Analyse/Return To Original Download but it doesn't work. Is this because I saved the updated file? Is there a way to Return To The Original Download once updates/amendmen...

Please check this ride file if it is all OK Velocomp_2024_05_09_1122_5_km.ibr So the last CalRide was good, but when it finished it did start counting again. I ended the ride with 5 presses on the button. When connecting the ...

Re: PP suddenly totally wonky
Your cadence sensor was not picked-up during the scan (0 ID). Sorry, but you'll need to do another sensor pairing and cal ride. Make sure your cadence sensor is awake prior to pairing. When you do the pairing you should see the light flash red 3 times, indicating that your cadence sensor was picked ...

It looks like you have 3 separate profiles.
You should find .ibr ride files when you hit the "Download" button. Please send screen shots of what you see when you hit this button. If you have .ibr ride files then please post them

This message means your unit has been moved and is significantly out of calibration.

Re: PPV5 suddenly went crazy - mid ride
Hi John, here you have 2 files. I was riding today and near the one-hour the figures went crazy. The power went up and the wind showed always 0 and sometimes strong headwind. I continued my ride, and power off the pp. Some minutes later i turned it on but te figures still were bad and i decided to ...

Re: PP suddenly totally wonky
Did a usual ride in Central Park today and PP had not responded at all two weeks ago but I kept it plugged in and rode 12mi 3/15 with normal power curves except for way high at the beginning (850W just for a minute or so) then everything seemed normal. Today in the first 6 mi lap seemed really low ...

Velocomp Aero app is coming...
We have been working on a new Mac/PC app for AeroPod, called "Velocomp Aero" Velocomp Aero will have much of the same interface as Isaac, but the new app will be customized to provide much easier and more detailed information regarding aero features such as CdA, lap stats, and more. Here's...

Re: New AeroPod/PowerPod CdA app for Garmin devices
If you have a DFPM paired to your PowerPod, then the power transmitted by PowerPod to the Garmin is from your DFPM. There is no adjustment you need to make. It work like a charm! I just need to pair my HRM and powerpod and that’s it, but not luck transmit for AERPOD APP, I have my powerpod ble pair...

Re: POWERPOD BLE WITH GARMIN AEROPOD APP
No; PP does not broadcast any wind, CdA data in BLE format. You have to connect to your 1040 by ANT+; when you do, you will be able to receive the data in the AeroPod 2.0 app.

Re: PowerPod V3 high Power-values after 2,5 hr
Good Afternoon John, PowerPod V3 with PStroke. Road-bike with flatbar. Can you give my ride-file a quick-scan. I did a 100Km ride. First 2 hours wind (Beaufort 4) in front. After that mostly the wind from behind. After 2,5 hours the power-values went up; irrational values, 500-600W instead of 150-1...

Re: TIRED 5 years and still useless
You confuse me enormously. You posted a photo of your Pinarello TT bike just above but say your ride file is from a MTB. I looked at your ride file. It appears to be from your TT bike, and if so its CdA is too high; it is set for a road bike. I used the "Device/Check Calibration" Isaac fea...

Re: TIRED 5 years and still useless
My camber MTB bike have 2 suspension front fork and rear. So that I can use powerpod in road bike as CDA MESSURE with my Garmin 1030? How it’s the procedure to do that? What about road dogma65 accuarate versus DFPM? Thank you. Unless both front and rear forks are locked, you will likely get comprom...

Re: TIRED 5 years and still useless
Thank you; this is good information. Here is what appears to be going on: 1) On your MTB your lockout seems to not totally prevent your front fork from moving up and down. In general, your PP works well on your MTB. However, at the end of your climb, where you have a really steep slope, your front f...

Re: TIRED 5 years and still useless
Please do the following: 1) Remove your PP from the mountain bike where you are posting ride files 2) Attach the removed PP to Isaac and change its profile to an unused profile, using the command Edit/Edit Profiles/Set Active Profile. For example, if your PP for your MTB is set to profile 1, change ...

Garmin may have changed its reporting system. We only report fully/partly charged status only.
I have no idea what they are reporting for software version.
