ride files getting split at download
I have an iAero with latest firmware and latest version of 4.0. Occasionally when I download a ride the ride is split between 2 files. For instance a 50 mile ride with no stops will result in 2 seperate file-say a 40 mile and 10 mile ride. I have attached 2 files from a ride today that got split. An...

Re: crazy offset
Not really sure what they did. Maybe John can chime in. I would think it had to do with the seal on the battery access?
Nice sunny ride this morning so I can't tell if there is any improvement yet.

Re: crazy offset
yes it takes a couple of days for it to totally dry out. I sent my unit back to John for repair-as usual great support from them.

Re: crazy offset
When I go to the set offset screen to zero it out prior to a ride it shows a very high number. After zeroing it out the numbers start to slowly climb again up to another high number over the period of a few minutes. This happens indoors at room temp.

crazy offset
The offset on my Gen 3 has started to go crazy. After a reset the numbers will start to go up or down, sometimes as much as 75. This is inside out of any wind. Tried a hard reset. Any ideas?

TT Aero Figures
I am putting my iBike on a TT bike this week. I will not be able to do my coastdowns/out and back for a few days. Could anyone give me an idea of a rough aero number to manually input until I get to do them? I am 5'10, 155lbs and ride a fairly low flat back position.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Wackey Cadence readings
Thanks Fernando. Moving the sensor a bit further from the magnet did the trick.

Wackey Cadence readings
On a ride yesterday my cadence readings started to get very erratic and high (like over 500PRM). This morning I installed a new battery in the cadence sensor and re-paired it. Still the same results. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Larry

Re: Display Interval and Cadence
Speaking of future additions, how about alternating distance/elapsed time (alternating like speed/slope does) on the power screen. This could be to the left of cad/hr. I know that the space is limited so maybe just running minutes and whole miles here? It would be great for TT's where you want to mo...

Re: Stem Mounts
About your mention of clean air-should the leading edge of the iBike be at or beyond the leading edge of the stem for proper airflow? Or is it OK to have it set back a bit so it is centered fore and aft on the stem?

Re: Begone, waterproof tape!
I have just used plain old electrical tape around the base to prevent the unit from twisting and it seems to work fine.
