Re: Crr for wide rims lower pressure
Finally found a sweetspot for my tire pressure. It's 80psi. They're 10psi less when I did my first CalRide. Should I do another CalRide? If so, please advise what settings to set before CalRide. Should I manually change the settings of the tire pressure and tire width in the setup menu? Also, do you...

Re: Crr for wide rims lower pressure
Yes they are for a road bike. Enve 3.4 SES rims. and continental grand prix 4000s II. The options I chose were, Tires-premium, Hoods elbow bent, tire pressure 90psi (but will drop it to 85psi).

Crr for wide rims lower pressure
Quick question on CRR. As the new wheels are wider now and the required pressure is lower, does the value of CRR in the settings have to be manually change to .55? When I did my initial setup for Cal Ride, one of the options in the setup is the tire pressure. I set it to 90psi for my wider rim wheel...

Ride file seem off
Since I updated the firmware in my Newton, the ride file seem off. On one ride occasion, the power display showed higher watts on the tailwind. On my latest ride, Isaac showed tailwind on both out and back.I have a TT set up and using remote wind sensor. Using the same profile before update. My last...

Wind cal changed in middle of the ride
During my ride today, noticed a sudden change/loss of power about halfway. It's a misty morning. I just let it go hoping the computer will correct itself. About 7 miles before home, I finally can't help it so I stopped and checked the "set up". Wind Cal was VERY HIGH. Blew air in the port ...

Re: Wind sensor seem off
Thanks John. This is not the first time this happened. With my last incident, the tech support suggest I do a new Cal Ride and this is the product of it and been riding this profile. My workouts have been somewhat demoralizing because I can't hit my target watts. Before each ride, I check "wind...

Wind sensor seem off
I did an out and back ride today. The power seem off and when I downloaded the file to Isaac, It shows that I have a tailwind both ways. Would you mind checking the file if there are signs of error? Thanks.
P.s. my set up is a TT bike using RWS, headset mount.

Re: Ride data seem off
Thanks John. So, the errors in my ride file was caused by an improperly inserted RWS? The tech support suggest I do another cal ride. Do you have something in the works to improve the RWS plug? i have mine already jammed all the way in. I notice in the updated Newton case that the wind scoop slopes ...

Re: Ride data seem off
This was a solo ride along the riverbed. No car traffic. The elevation was set to 37 before the ride. My weight is 136lbs. Same bike setup as I had always. Tech support suggest I do another cal ride. I did and when I switched to the new profile, the power data seem to be closer to what it should be....

Ride data seem off
Went for a ride today with sets of workouts to do. Did a good warm up and started my planned workout. I'm not saying that I'm super strong but the power numbers I'm seeing compared to my perceived effort seem low. I was pushing hard and I barely touch my goal numbers. I chased numbers and after the ...

Re: Feature request
For this one time incident though, when I clicked the button to wake up the unit, I didn't get the "trainer mode" alert. The unit detected my speed sensor and HR monitor and went straight to normal screen right away. Maybe a one time error.

Feature request
Reason for suggestion: I went for a group ride today but forgot to turn off trainer mode: Usually, the screen displays "trainer on" if trainer mode is on. But this time, after Newton paired with my HR and speed sensors, the screen went straight to normal display without alerting me that th...

Are the trainer coefficient paired and locked in for each profile when you send them to Newton? The reason I'm asking is that I have 2 bikes that I switch back and forth. Do I have to reload the trainer coefficient every time I switch bike? One is a road bike, and the other is a tt bike.

What feature does the "TE" do in Fit train mode? The manual mentioned "Cardio", 'Fat", "strn", "user", "tt" but never mentioned "TE".
Thanks

How about ideas on how/where to mount Newton if using between the arm bottle set up. I have mine mounted on the head cap. Just want to know how others do theirs. Pictures would be nice.

Help! I have FW5.x installed in my Newton. I had no problem with it until today when I loaded another Profile. (Profile 4). I originally have 3 profiles in Newton. Modification to RWS
Just want to share with everybody what I did to my TT setup. The original tubing doesn't allow a tight bend without pinching the tube. You need at least 2inches in front of Newton to have a clean loop. Since I want to move my bottle closer to me, I modified the intake and added an "L" shap...
