Re: Bad wind / wattage ~ 45 min into ride
I am having similar problems. My wind readout is always low. It doesn't matter if I am in a headwind or a tailwind, it is always very low resulting in very low wattage numbers.

Re: Temperature always reads high
I went ahead and changed the temperature by going to "Edit", Preferences" then 'Ride Data" and adjusted the temperature down by 7 degrees. I'm going to try that to see if it more accurately reflects the outside temperature. Is there a downside to doing this?

Temperature always reads high
My Gen III temperature always reads high. Most of the time it is about 10 degress (F) high. If it is really cloudy, it still reads about 5 degrees high. However, when it is just sitting in the house it is pretty accurate.
Is there a fix?

IBike Gen III Mounting
It says on the webpage that the new Gen III has an "improved mounting system for better lock-in".
Will the new Gen III mount on the Gen II wireless mounts, or will I have to replace them?

Re: one million mile ride!
I talked to John the other day. He suggested that there was a possibilty that the battery was not seating well in the unit. So, he suggested that I wad up a small piece of paper and place it between the battery and the the battery door. So far, it has worked flawlessly. What appears to have been hap...

one million mile ride!
I am using the new gen 2 iBike on a wireless mount. I am starting to have problems with the data. Often when I download the ride it will have bad data that shows the mileage either positive or negative at more than a million miles. I think that it is happening when during the ride, the screen grows ...

Gen II Rocks!
I have had my Gen II for about two weeks now. I race quite a bit and was having significant problems when I put my Zipp 303 wheels on my Specialized SL2. The tubular tires at 140psi really were hard on the old iBike. But, since I switched to the Gen II it has worked flawlessly. What a great upgrade....

High Temperature Reading
My original iBike did a fairly good job of showing an accurate temperature reading. It was replaced last year. The new iBike is always 5-12 degrees high, even in cloudy conditions.
