Re: new Ironman course - PP weird numbers for 180k

new Ironman course - PP weird numbers for 180k

Hi, last weekend i did the new ironman in argentina. It was a cold and very windy day. the day before i tested the pp and was OK. i did a short testing in hard conditions (potholes, etc) and was really ok, i was happy with the numbers in a "new" city for me. The race day from the start lin...

Re: pp weird trasmiting

John, Why the 8 minute calibration did not happened.? Iam aware that kind of situation force a itself calibration. Apart from this, the initial reading was instantaneous (NO 8 minute calibration and the pp was at my computer usb before the ride) Also... did you see any abnormal issue in the file? Th...

pp weird trasmiting

Today i charged to full battery the PP, put it in the bike (i always try putting it in the same position but usually the 8min calibration happens) and wnet to a long ride. It did not do the 8 minute calibrating (it showed the watts, i think with correct numbers, from the begining). At about km 84 th...

Powerpod NOT recalibratring... is it ok?

Hi, at least the 2 last rides the PP inmediately shows the "correct" watts. I have detached it prior to the ride and always fix it in the same way and always it takes the 8 minute to recalibrate. Last week i did not payed attention and im sure the powr was instantaneous....but now, i attac...

Re: suddenly too low watts? is PP ok?

John, with your correctd profile sent to the PP, today i rode a 100k+. i think its ok or near ok. in some part of the file i saw a weird number such as a "negative" kmh headwind... is it possible? do you see something wrong? the ride was near 90% straight lines in a route (go and back 50k+...

Re: suddenly too low watts? is PP ok?

yes, its a tt bike. yes, the whole file is about 85-90% doing loops. for my learning..... did you "analyze wind" to get this corrections? now the numbers are more close to my perception. also, did you notice something in the late kilometers? i remember feeling the numbers were ok or near o...

Re: Left/Right Power?

John thank you, i watched this video many times. I only was suggesting about the numbers that exists inside the pp and we cant see in the powerstroke app. Also and only as a fan and customer of velocomp or pp, the isaac really neeeds to be upgrade in terms of look and feel and some minor options. Re: Left/Right Power?

I think all data anda explanation(the dots degrees, the dots quantitites, etc) John told many posts above can be added to the actual powerstroke graphics/video... the pp has the data anda think tus easy to add. In fact i think its easy or more easy than do and all new GUI that the isaac is shouting ...

Re: Aero Calcs - wind scaling

Yes, sólo in the middle! You are right

But like to know and learn about the wind scaling yet Told me about the 4.46 vs the original 2.8... which is the correct number as the pp, bike , position, stem , etc etc were always the same and always in the same place.

Thank you very much

John, is very clear with the combo mount in the TT bike. This last OB got the 4.46... as i told you, everything is in the same place and the previous OB was 2.8.

Aero Calcs - wind scaling

Hi, ive read the isaacs instructions carefully and still...have some qustions. cda m2 : i think its the more important value an related to the "front area" (bike+my body) wind scaling: the actual value is 4.462 (the first number in the first OB was about 2.80). Is this value "permanen...

Rain problem? Full Ironman

John, last weekend ive been at IM Brasil. The full 226kmts was with mid to heavy rain. In the bike leg the idea was to mantain a 170-180w... the rain was heavy and was near impossible to mantain (dangeours curves with LAKES of water, pelotons, etc)... all was going "ok" and suddenly (i thi...
