Re: erase all data question
The "Erase Ride Data" command only erases your ride file data. You are correct that all calibration and profile data is stored in a different area of memory and is not erased.

Re: The cold
With a low battery temperature, power, and elevation readings go crazy. All readings stored in the iBike's memory (profile settings, ride data) remain untouched.

Re: The cold
If you had checked your battery voltage once the iBike's temperature had reached 34F, I bet it would have been below 2.75!
The 2.75V recommendation is for warm, summer temperatures.
In winter I'd put in a new battery prior to every ride, especially when the outdoor temperature is 34F.

Re: Wind offset question
The temperature stability of the wind sensor is much better in the Gen III so it should not be a major crisis if you forget to do a wind offset. On my Gen III I often do not perform a wind offset; I put the iBike on my bike, push the center button to pair, and ride.

Re: Calibration ride/coast down with DFPM
You're correct that if you are using your iAero on a bike without your PT, just set Pin to "None" and your iAero will work just fine. Set Cad to Find (or Paird) to get your sensor working. Since you are using a disc wheel your aerodynamic drag may be different so you should do a new set of...

Re: power disappears
The reason for your problem is that there is an error in your profile. Specifically, in the "advanced" tab in the edit profiles function, you'll see your bike + rider weight listed as zero. This causes an infinite Crr. I don't know why this problem happens in iBike 3 but I will try to find...

The problem is that your iAero has been mistakenly programmed as an iPro. The iAero does not have an estimated CdA function.

Re: High power readings for first few minutes of riding
Here's what is going on. In your cal ride both your wind scaling factor and your riding tilt are determined. Riding tilt is the correction factor that accounts for the effects of your body's weight distribution causing changes to the tilt calibration of your iBike. A correct riding tilt measurement ...

Re: Intervals on iPro
We thought the pre-programmed intervals would be of interest to most iPro owners but we're certainly not trying to take away a prior feature.
Look for a firmware update in the near future that will give the option for the standardized intervals or the custom programming of intervals.

There is a lot of new information stored in the iBike 3 ride file format. Most of it is background information that can be used to check things if a ride file has been sent to us for analysis. Don't mess with the information in the far right columns; it could screw up your ride file! Do NOT attempt ...

Re: Second ride...some disappointing results. Ideas?
Your Crr is too high; for asphalt roads it should be around 0.004, not the 0.008 in your ride. Tweak your Crr to 0.004 in iB3 and you'll see the results you expected. You can see where rain filled your wind sensor port between minutes 47 and 57. You can remove the iBike blow the wind out of the port...

Tom: Your estimated CdA on the hoods is 0.36 with summer clothing. Your iBike has a default CdA of 0.4 loaded into it so it is probably quite close to your winter gear number. I would just ride with the default values in the iBike. Once you do your coast downs and Cal Ride you can re-interpret your ...

Re: Cadence data not imported by iBike 3 for Windows
This is not an iBike 3 issue. If you did not see cadence during your ride then your cadence sensor either was not operating properly or wasn't paired to your iPro. Make sure your cadence mount is set up properly and that your cadence mount is paired. The iPro will switch automatically from CAL to RP...
