New Velocomp Aero software with FW 11 enables wireless communication

We are releasing a new version of Velocomp Aero for Mac/PC, which enables installation of
new FW 11 on most PP and all AP.
FW 11 and VA enable complete wireless operation of your PP/AP with your computer...
and your phone or iPad too, if you have Velocomp Wireless installed on your iOS/Android device.

Hi John,
I have a PowerPod v3, will this work with the new wireless functions? I have connected today my pod to the latest Velocomp Aero but got no FW11 update notice. My PowePod is on FW 10.05.
This looks a very useful update, hope to be able to use it. Thanks.

Launch Velocomp Aero. You may see a message stating that VA update is available; if so, update VA to version 1.0.40. Do NOT attempt any firmware upgrade until you have installed VA 1.0.40
After updating VA you can confirm that you have version 1.0.40 by using "About Velocomp Aero"
You should then get a message to update to FW 11.
Once FW 11 is installed you will have limited Wireless functionality; everything except ride downloads and firmware uploads.
For full wireless functionality you will need to trade in to one of our wireless models.

Only after updating Aero to 1.0.41 I could see the update to FW 11 - wanted to say something else, for the first time, after a ride, Aero reported there was no ride to save from the device - power was recorded on my Garmin device though. I hope it was a one of only, I will keep you posted in case this issue is repeated.

Did you see power data during your ride?
Also, when you click the download icon, make sure your memory is not full.
