AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

I put new batteries in the ibike, and am now having this problem: the speed reading is very erratic. It goes 13, 5, 3, 14, 0 etc., even though I am going about 18 or 19. I reset it, scanned it again, and it still does it. It picks up wind and rpm. What is going on?

First check is the wheel magnet and sensor. Is the spacing or alignment off? If you pass a magnet over the sensor do you hear a click every time? Do you get the same with the wheel magnet?

Please post a photo showing the location of your speed sensor and the proximity of the speed magnet to it.
