AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

Hello All,

I just bought an Iaero and got in late yesterday. I could not wait to get started with it! Anyways here is my deal. I went out this morning and did my fast user setup, user setup, cal rides and coast downs. Everything was going great until the coast downs. I did the fist coast and I thought everything was fine but it said bad coast. Anyways I think I tried it three times and all bad. So I was thinking maybe I had a configuration issue. I went into the racer config. and turned on I think it was the cda or crr I can not remember. Anyways I did it again and it started working. A couple of things I do not know if it was b/c of the changes I made in the IBike or b/c I changed my location where it had a lot more wind? One other thing I got home and uploaded the files and I am not sure which setting's I should for the crr? Should I redo my tests? I have included my file for review.

Most of us have found that bad coast downs are a result of changes in the tilt correction. So it is important to run a tilt correction (and cal wind) just before starting the CDs. Other things that can affect bad CDs - cars driving by, you swerving to avoid obstacles, very bumpy surfaces. If your mount is not absolutely rock solid, the iBike can rotate on the handlebar and this will alter your tilt.

Gusty wind is not so good. But using a tailwind can sometimes still get good CDs...

Can you think of anything else that yo did between the bad and good CDs?

No everything was the same. I will say that on the first three it took a long time for me to slow down to 8mph to complete the CD. I did all of the tests on the same road. It has very little vehicle traffic. When I was doing the test I made sure that there were no others around me while I was doing the test. A few times when I was coasting I passed a few runners. On the CD's when I passed the runners they came back fine. I doubled checked the mount and it is rock solid. Everything else seemed to be exactly the same. Not sure if this will matter or not? I am using my 705 sensors. I have the Iaero GT.

That's weird, for some reason when I try to open the cal ride file I get no data and it says it was performed on Dec 31, 1903.

This might be a Travis problem. I'll get him to see what's going on.
