2 profiles/ comparisons

Post by GWPOS »

First thanks for the help I have received in getting my unit working on my xc mtn bike. My numbers are petty close to what they should be I think. Maybe high on one of the bikes. I use one bike for xc racing(dirt only) the other for my paved road workouts.

Now the question is this: How/what can I do or provide to someone in the way of a ride file etc. that can be used to determine if the profiles are equivalent in power readings so that I can be assured that 200 watts is 200 watts on both bikes(or as close as possible)?

Just upload the files here and there are quite a few people capable of analyzing the files.

I suppose they need to be some kind of out and back ride, or will any ride do?

I would think that files from a ride that was "similar" for each bike - maybe the same terrain, etc. is all that you would need - not an out/back, although something like that would be just as good for the comparison, but it does not have to be a "cal ride". You probably have a little difference in wind scaling and tilt error for each bike.
