Wireless Mount-Oval shaped stem

Hello to the group,
I am new to this forum and thought I would jump in and introduce myself, and ask a question. My name is Scott, living in New Hampshire and I have just purchased an "ipro wireless" power meter. I am excited about this and can't wait to get out there and give it a try. I have run into a small problem and was looking for some suggestions from others here in the group. The stem on my bike is not round, it is acutally more oval. The wireless mount included with my purchase is made to fit a round stem rather than oval. I am not sure if this is going to cause a problem or not but I am wondering whtat others have done in this situation? I was thinking that maybe I could try some dense foam around the stem? Any suggestions would be greatly apprecitated. I have attached a couple pics if this helps. Thanks and hope to get out there and crank up some power.
