AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

How can I tighten the phonebooth door latch so it does not open so easily? I'm using Velocomp's new Bridge "U" mount and the phonebooth latch often opens when I ride over bumpy pavement (the iphone stays connected to the dock). I simply secure the latch but it happens several times on each ride. I find myself constantly checking the phonebooth to verify it is latched.

One more question... If I do not "End Ride", does Dash use battery power while attempting to monitor non-existing signals?

As long as the iBike app is running you will be using power. The primary power user is the backlighted display, not the iBike electronics.
