Newton Cal Ride: bad cal...bad cal...bad cal...

I have not been able to achieve a good cal ride with my Newton - four attempts have resulted in four "bad cals". My setup is a Newton mounted on the handlebar with the dual-mount. I performed two "2 mile" cal rides on one day, on a mostly straight, flat road with low winds and no traffic. Both rides returned a "bad cal". I had performed a tilt cal earlier in the day, and did a wind cal between the two cal rides. I thought maybe I had missed something.
I used Isaac to go through the device setup again and told it to let me redo the cal ride from scratch. Today, I tried two more cal rides, both resulting in "bad cal". The first was 4 miles (2 miles out, 2 miles back), and the second was 2 miles. Wind was mild, traffic very low. I performed tilt and wind cals about 30 mins before the first attempt, and then again before starting the second attempt.
At this point, I don't know what to do to achieve a good cal. I did notice that the wind measurements were way off before and after the cal attempts. Maybe this is expected before a good cal ride is achieved.
I've attached the two ride files from today. Any help would be appreciated to achieve a good cal ride.
