Outside Temperature Affect

Post by Jfala »

I couldn't find any answers for my question on the board, but please point me to another thread if it exists. Went for a ride this morning and the temp was around 40 degrees F. I noticed that my iBike Sport was not registering a wattage reading at all for at least 5 minutes. I am assuming the tilt was off, and the wattage reading returned once the iBike auto calibrated the tilt. Does the temperature have an affect on the initial tilt calibration to cause it not register properly? My previous ride was fine and performed the fitness test without a problem. Any guidance is appreciated.

Thanks.

Temperature does not have an affect on the tilt. I suggest you do a tilt calibration before your next ride.

Do a tilt calibration, and then do a "get calibration from iBike" next time you hook it up to the computer.

EDIT: Sorry, guess you can't do that with the Sport.
