AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

So I've had several occasions where I'm riding and getting a big fat "0" for the watts. I originally noticed it in a road race where it seemed just fine for the first 15 minutes of the race and then nothing for the remaining 2 hours. I first thought maybe i accidentally kicked the sensor, but I was still reading cadence and speed, so that didn't make much sense. Seems I've had the problem several times since. Even tried changing battery (even though the battery power looks fine). Seems like it happens a lot when on a bit of a downhill. Even times when pedaling very hard and in excess of 30 mph, no watts.

Anyone else experiencing this?

What happens when you download your ride and perform the "Analyze Ride" function? Do you see an increase in avg wattage?

I have noticed this myself and found that somehow during the ride when checking the post processing file that the tilt drifted down from zero to something like minus 20m.

Performing an Analyze Ride "fixes" the tile to around zero and increases/restores the power to part of the ride.

Also, could be an idea to perform another tilt on your ibike to make sure everything is fine.
