Hi,

I saw this article http://www.bicycling.com/bikes-gear/bik ... l_obsolete over at Bicycling Magazine. The device looks rather primitive compared to the iBike.

Cheers!

I found it interesting that John made an attempt to identify a possible patent infringement - not knowing how the iBike patents were written, I cannot come to any conclusion - but someone sure got defensive!

The other factor that I found even more questionable is Bicycle Magazine not reporting or identifying the iBike as something commercially available -Now- clearly some fawning over Garmin?

John - you were not the one I was referring to as defensive ---- you have every right to let others know there may be patents involved.

The person commenting about the iBike Patents not being enforceable was the one whom I thought was being a bit off. I would think that the patents on the iBike were safe. Of course any patent is really nothing more than a piece of paper until upheld after litigation.
