Help

Post by ChrisS »

I been out with an Ibike pro for the first time and have done 10 coast downs and a cal ride. Get home and try to download the data.

Connection is OK, can read serial no. etc but when I download ibike data i get a message

Error-1073807339 occurred at VISA Read in IBSerial receive responce.vI>Command and packettzed responce.vi-iBComm get ride data.vicr doenload iBike data.vi-iBcr dialog process cal ride.vi>iBike top-level VI.vi

Possible reasons: (Hex 0xBFFF0015) Timeout expired before opeation completed.

Ibike worked fine on the road and has corect number in ODO and Hrs log. Says memory is 11% ful. So it looks like it recorded the data.

I need help
Any ideas?

Hi Chris

I had exactly the same after doing coast downs and calibration ride on my new iPro yesterday. Try the following:

1. Make sure the iBike is fitted to the USB properly (it's quite easy to not be on properly as it's so tight)
2. Unplug and replug USB cable.
3. Press the centre button on the unit.

I think it was 3 that actually sorted it out, almost as though the unit was in some kind of strange state.

Mine's been fine ever since.

Thanks wellmt.

I fixed the problem by removing the software which was version 2 from my computer and installing version 3. The data then downloaded OK.

I had the same problem today and had to remove the program and do a brand new installation. It was easy and I'm glad I had the forum for assistance.

Thanks a ton!!!
