Have set up interval set. . . Target Watts 230 - workout time 10 mins etc.
Turn Newton on to setting to climate. Hold right arrow >> Select user >> Click Center Button.
Display shows the 10 second count down. I start to ride and 10 second count down starts.
the first set is displayed and time 10 mins does not move for anywhere between 3 to 12 mins.
this happens when using trainer and on rode. It use to go straight into the set.
I have tried pressing centre and arrow buttons. I have cancelled the ride and started again.
but still freezes after the 10 second count down.
I have checked everything , but must be missing a link for it to work.

It sounds like your programmed interval sets are somehow not correct.
I would use Isaac to create a new interval set, then load that into your Newton.

Re: FIT TRAIN - USER-PROGRAMMED INTERVAL SETS
Hi John,
I have updated the interval sets, I also removed one my bikes.
went for a ride and after the 10 seconds count down, the start of the interval froze.
after 13 mins plus so many seconds the timer started.
I reloaded the intervals again and again start ride , but freezes after 10 second count down.
mmm, so I decided to try the fat burning , cardio and strength pre-programs.
again 10 seconds counts down , but then freezes.

Something is wrong, but I don't know what.
I have FW 515 (latest production FW) in my Newton and everything works just fine.
Please post a ride file from a recent ride. Perhaps that will shed some light on things.

Re: FIT TRAIN - USER-PROGRAMMED INTERVAL SETS
Hi John,
Attached file, Hope i did it right.
The interval entered was : 10min ( warm up , 2 mins rest , 5mins then 2 mins rest , etc
so I started ride: 10 secs count down ( yes) , then freeze. I stopped after 50 secs say, and I ended session.
re-scanned device for bike ( just because) and started interval procedure again . 10 secs count down -
freeze and after about 13 secs, it started the 10 min warm up. and everything worked fine for the whole session.
p.s. a great device you have invented, congratulations - a very happy ibike fan

Hi John
You must have a magic wand, because it is now working and have tried it out on different intervals and
cannot fault.
Have a fun day
