I've had my PowerPod for about 2 months now, using on and off. I noted 6 days ago that it wasn't functioning at all, tried to leave it to charge again overnight (no luck), checked out the trouble-shooting info and realized that I'd never seen the little red light stay on longer than a couple of seconds at the beginning of charging.
I therefore then found that if I pushed the mini-USB end in VERY strongly, I could keep the light on. Since it was too uncomfortable to hold the cable in place, I then rigged up an elastic band to hold the cable end in, which succeeded in charging the Pod. Today, 3 days after that difficult charge-up, the PowerPod no longer takes a charge at all. After a few more days, I'll have a non-functional unit.
Since, I also now understand why I wasn't getting my Isaac to work (USB icon never turned green; no connection).
I've tried 4 different mini-USB cables with the same problem, so it's not the original cable, nor the USB dock on my computer. The problem is with the hard connection within the PowerPod itself.
How can you help me with this, please?
Thanks!
