This morning I did my first 20 min FTP test. I think things look pretty allright but have attached the ride file just for verification. It would be great John, if you could have a look at it.
It was also my first real go with the Powerstroke. And looking at the results I have to say I'm very surprised how much wasted motion I put into the front-to-back motion! Now I want to change that of course. I'm at bit uncertain what part of my pedalling actually creates the front-to-back motion....How do I go about improving that aspect the best?

Re: First FTP test and Powerstroke
Your test looks fine. PowerPod is properly calibrated and you did a nice job of holding watts during the test.
Your HR numbers seem really high (after the sensor started working...)
Your PowerStroke shows "mashing"; you push down really hard on the downstroke, but don't seem to be pulling up with your other leg. This is something you might want to try working on.

Re: First FTP test and Powerstroke
Many thanks for the feedback John. Great to have verified that the calibration is in place. I will try to work on the pedalling. I average at a rather high cadence (approx. 100) I think, and guess the 'mashing' would be even bigger at lower cadences/higher gears. But I will do some tests to see if another cadence might help me pedalling more evenly.
Actually my HR monitor strap needs replacement. The HR values really tend to jump around. But yesterday was also the first time I paired the HR monitor to the PowerPod. That part worked great - the strap not though - but I kind of knew that
