PowerPod disconnecting

Hi John

On a few occasions now, the PowerPod seems to disconnect. Here is an example of a scenario.

Scenario 1
Turn on Garmin
HRM sensor connects.
Cadence/Speed sensor connects.
But PP does NOT connect (I have had it working before).

Scenario 2.
Everything is working fine.
Stop for a long rest break.
Restart my ride...push the PP button to have it turn on and reconnect....but doesn't connect again.

Any ideas what may be up?

When you turn on the PP, does the light show solid green? If so it is working. If not, what does the light show?



Any ideas what may be up?

Usually the green light will come on then later turn off but it doesn't seem to connect/show any power readings.

As a work around. I stop my garmin. Save my ride. Restart garmin then restart PP and all seems to work again.

I have two PP ride files as I have to "restart" my rides trying get it to connect.
