PowerPod USB Issues - Charge & Connect

Post by DrivenUnder »

I've had my PP for just over two years, and I'm having lots of issues charging and connecting to Isaac. Is anyone else having issues with the micro USB plug on these units? I've tried many cables and fiddling and wiggling, but I can't maintain a connection to the PP. Two years actually not very long, and I've always been gentle with this thing, so I wondered if there is some kind of defect in mine.

OK, I've done that.

On the same subject, how can I tell what the battery level of the PowerPod is? Basically, it seems to be either on or dead, charging or not, which makes it hard to know what state it is really in if the USB port is iffy.

If you're using a Garmin you can see battery status by clicking on the Power Meter Sensor status page.

I use a Wahoo ELEMNT. I take it that the Wahoo does not show power level....

Is there an Android app that can communicate with the PowerPod BLE?
