I changed the mount point of my power pod (same bike, but different mount point).
So, i thought i should re-calibrate.
How do i tell the Power Pod that i want to do another calibration run?
Thank you.
How do i force Power Pod to do another calibration run?
Re: How do i force Power Pod to do another calibration run?
No need to "force" it.
PP continuously readjusts itself. After riding for 8 minutes your PowerPod will be dialed-in again.

OK, but when it does "readjust itself" is there any indication it is doing so? For instance, does the light flash yellow like it did for the first calibration ride?
I'm still pretty new to it - like 4th ride now. When i went out right after changing the position on handle bars, the power meter read 0 (on my Garmin edge) for quite a while. It did not count up 1, 2,...99, 100 like it did for the calibration ride. But then after period (maybe 5-10 minutes, i was not timing exactly), it did start working. Although then it did cut back to 0 watts a few more times during this ride, more than momentarily (a few minutes each time). But, then it did seem to come back to measuring credible wattages.
I'd like a way to "feel reassured" about what it is doing, when it is calibrating vs when it is validly measuring with accurate results.
Anything more i can do to "understand what its doing and what is going on"?
Thanks,

Calibration is automatic and there is no flashing light.tomcon wrote:OK, but when it does "readjust itself" is there any indication it is doing so? For instance, does the light flash yellow like it did for the first calibration ride?

It may be that your PP is pointed incorrectly. Make sure it is within +/-20 degrees of parallel to the ground beneath it. If its angle is wrong then it will constantly try to recalibrate itself.
