Newbie with question regarding wind compensation

Post by Korny510 »

Hi

I just installed and setup my powerpod.
I used profile 1 as I used the supplied mount.
After the calibration run the wind compensation was set to 1.7!?
I did quite a perfect go and return ride. But stopped about 300 m later, can I anyways use this to recalibrate?

Thanks from Germany,
Andreas

Hi John.

attached is a file recorded yesterday after the calibration ride.
FYI is tried the check calibration feature and the wind scaling was set to 1.377.

Thanks for your efforts.
I will now calibrate my PowerPod for my second bike.

The ride file you posted is really close; the optimized profile is attached. I got a wind scaling factor of 1.581 from the Analyze/Check Calibration feature.

Hi John.

Thanks so much!
I'll try this profile tomorrow, when the weather will be better than today.
Best regards,
Andreas
