Solid Orange light when on, wont work seems dead then ....

I was half way through a ride last Wednesday when my Powerpod stopped broadcasting to my Garmin... so I thought it must have run out of charge or disconnected from Ant+ broadcast to the head unit... however I have been unable to get it to work ever since.
I plugged it into my desktop PC and it wouldnt connect at all and just showed a solid orange light displayed all the time. The Isaac software didnt recognise the PPod and I have tried it on several different computers all to no avail.
I left it charging overnight to see it that would have an effect but still it wont activate or broadcast to my Garmin. I have reset the PPod by holding the button down as the troubleshooting but nothing happens... it stays with an orange light solid.
Now after leaving it connected to my Desktop Pc for a few hours I have managed to download all my ride data from it but I cant get it to do anything after that. I wont connect to my Garmin, It only shows an orange light. Doing a reset just has an orange solid light. The 4 seconds holding down the button to pair to the sensors on my bike isn’t working. I am totally baffled and have been through the manual to try and get it to restart.
Also what is baffling me is that the ride on Wednesday had nothing special or different that usual nothing occurred on the ride to cause the PPod to stopped working
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have now contacted PBK in the UK who I bought the unit from and Im hoping to return it if I cant get some insights from the forum.
