For some reason the PP is still recording.
O&B doesn't work
Here two files: see attachments.

Somehow your PP profile has gone wacky...

Here's what to do:

1) Connect your PP to Isaac

2) Go to "Device/Setup/Reset Profile/Device..."

3) Click Reset Profile 1 (I think this is the profile you are using; if not, then click the profile number you're using)

4) Now, do a completely new setup, including sensor pairing and "Device/Setup Newton..."

5) Click Best Accuracy on the last step of the setup wizard.

6) Do an out and back ride, which should only take 10 minutes

Please post your ride file afterwards.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

at first the PP didn't want to do the O&B ride. After 10 minutes, trying several time.
The light went yellow and power got from 1 to 2,3,4 etc.

After that all went well.
Hereby the O&B ride and the rest of the ride

Are you using a PowerCal HR strap?

I have a similar problem. I turned on PP, got the orange light, did a ride (but not out and back - just out). The PP counted up from 1 to 100 but then instead of starting to show power it just displayed 50w and the light flashes red/green. Is this similar to OPs problem and should I do the same procedure in resetting the profile? Also, do you need to ride out and back or is it OK to just ride out? Or to do laps on a crit track?

thanks,
David

Yes, please follow the same reset procedure I described in this thread to wiboc.

Yes, you should do a "true" out and back calibration--ride out 5 minutes (to 50W mark), STOP, turn around, then ride back. It's simple.

OK...the PowerCal "power" data is ridiculous...it's low by about 50%...

I'm pleased to report that your PP data looks fine now!

Hello,
I'm glad the powerpod works. But every ride I must calibrate.
So everytime 15 minutes O&B for a calibration.

How can I get rid of this O&B calibration? /every time

If I understand you properly, you are saying that, each time you go out to ride, the red/green light flashes, and you need to do a new cal ride.

If this is the case then you should see a whole series of cal rides in your ride folder, followed by your ride file.

Please post your two most recent cal ride files, and the ride file that follows immediately after each cal ride.

This should not be happening...

I tried the reset procedure several times and each time the light was red after pairing. I couldn't work out what I was doing wrong. Then I discovered the answer. I hadn't turned it on! I pressed the button, once, quickly, and the light changed from red to orange and I was able to do the calibration ride. I was simply misinterpreting the meaning of the lights and assuming that it was already turned on because the light was illuminated. Perhaps the written instructions could be made a little more explicit and step-by-step.

Thank you for your suggestion. We are always looking for ways to make the instructions clearer.
