Power Reading Too High?

I have just set up my new Power Pod along with a Garmin speed sensor (I have no cadence sensor).
After my initial calibration I performed my first ride and obtained average and normalized power readings
which would appear to be inflated by around 50 - 60 Watts. I might add that I have previously used crank
based power metres which I am comparing against the Power Pod.
On inspection of the ride in Isaac software I realised that I needed to update my profile, which I did. I then
performed another calibration and went for a second ride, on similar roads and at a similar speed. My power
numbers decreased this time by around 20 watts but would still appear to be 30-35 watts over what I would
expect. I was also accompanied by my son who is virtually the same weight and build as myself and was using
power based pedals, and his wattage was considerably less than my own.
I have attached files of the two rides and would appreciate some feedback.
