High numbers in downhill
High numbers in downhill
My powerpod generates very consistent values in terrain with inclinations higher than 2%, however in the negative slopes in calm wind, it assumes that the headwind generated by the speed is real, being really calm. This leads to having huge power readings in the descends that distort the NP of the routes made. My FTP is 192, however this data shows me as a monster when holding high powers in those negative inclinations. In the attached file, the route is round trip, by the same highway, with wind almost calm maximum of 2 to 3 km / h of the northwest. I attach the original file and the TCX with the GPS information.

Re: High numbers in downhill
It looks like your wind sensor calibration is wrong. This could cause high watts on downhills.
Please do a new calibration ride and post a ride file.
