AeroPod, PowerPod and Newton

I am using the PP V3. My speed and cadence sensors show up in the wireless ID's and are enabled. The HR ID is shown but the enable is grayed out. How do I get the HR to be enabled and show in the ride data in Isaac?

Your profile shows a sensor pairing but there is no HR data in your ride files.

Make sure your HR strap is working, then do a new sensor pairing and cal ride.

The HR is working since it shows up in my other ride file from the bike computer. With my sketchy success rate of doing cal rides I try to avoid them but I will try another one.

It's possible that PP is looking for the HR signal when you wake it up but doesn't see it soon enough. When this happens PP will stop looking for the HR signal.

Try this:

1) Wake up your HR strap
2) Confirm with your bike computer that the HR strap is awake
3) Then, and only then, wake up PP.
4) Do a short ride and see if the HR data is recorded in your PP

If you have HR data in PP that is great; if not, then do a new pairing and cal ride.

That is my normal ride sequence: power up bike computer, heart rate monitor, speed sensor, cadence , PP.

At the beginning of today's ride I went through the pairing process followed by a calibration ride. I remembered the steps and checking the ride data the heart rate monitor now appears and is enabled in the profile.
