Merging data PPv2 to PPv3 **Updated**
Hello John,
As I wait for my upgraded PP, how would I merge the new calibration with my rider data that is already in Isaac , under "edit Profiles" page ?
Each bike will have the same speed sensor. All over data, bike weight, rider weight, positon, tires, etc . won't change .
Thank you,
Ken B.

Re: Merging data PPv2 to PPv3
From memory you just need to copy the profiles onto your PP3 from Issac. You will then need to do a calibration ride as I think the wind settings are slightly different in particular if you have a pitot tube fitted.
Re: Merging data PPv2 to PPv3
Thanks, I'm hoping it's that easy. Tom told me that the cda and wind sensor are different. And a new cal ride is needed , so in theory the recal ride should adjust those. KB
Re: Merging data PPv2 to PPv3
In theory should also find sensors, as nothing has changed, if I copy those profiles also ??KBspangelsaregreat wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 7:11 am From memory you just need to copy the profiles onto your PP3 from Issac. Okay, the Powerpodv3 just arrived, that was fast. I placed 1 PROFILE into the PP. Synched with sensors and Garmin. I get a solid yellow light, which means it needs a calibration ride. So far so good, but, it's raining, have to wait til tomorrow. Hopefully, I'm on the right course. When recal is complete, ill ride and do an analysis in Isaac.
I'm sure John will come in, before I screw this up.
If all goes well, got 4 more to do.KB

Thanks John, that's what I wanted to hear. At age 73, if it ain't easy, I'm out. Been riding for over 50 yrs. this power stuff is the coolest. Even installed the nifty Aeropod app. Now I've got more data, than a space shuttle to look at. Hope I don't end up in the gutter.

OK, got some interesting results . Not sure about O&B ride. It started out yellow, then to red/green. Not sure if I saw the blinking yellow, as not sure about the function button. Push in or down front top. As I was riding to my start point, I noticed the power numbers going 1- up. Reached 50 and didn't stop or see red light. So I turned around anyway. Got to 100 and light went red. Power numbers appeared as normal. Tried another O&B ride, nothing, so went on a hill ride that I had before with same bike and PPv2, in order to verify numbers.
So, extracted O&B cal ride. got some numbers. Next I extracted the actual ride and tweaked profile.
O&B ride dialed in:
Aero: 0.998
Wind Scale: 2.797
Fric:8.356
Ride file Tweaked:
Aero: 0.909
Wind Scale:2.548
Fric:1.231
I'm thinking I sure use profile from ride file tweaked. Also, power and slope were , basically the same from when I road this hill, same bike,PPv2 vs. PPv3.

Just complete cal on 2nd bike, everything worked as described. First cal , wasn't sure about pushing button, and blinking light hard to see, compared to v2.
Now onto 3rd bike.
Third bike cal went to plan.
No. 4 & 5 for another day KB

Thank you, John. I started subsequent rides in a shaded area, so no missing reading the lights. Bikes 2 & 3 went without issues. Now on to 4 & 5.
PS. I'm liking that kool Aeropod cda app. Nice work.
Ken B.
EDIT: Bike 4 complete.

Hello John,
Finally got all 5 bikes profiled and reading correctly. What a nice little unit, v3 is........
