recording limited to 10min on V1?

Hi,

I understand the Powerpod Lite is limited to 10min recording, but somehow I'm seeing the same behavior on the V1 that I got second-hand (or perhaps it's a V2). Firmware is 6.41.

Yet, the graphs on https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2016/03/pow ... eview.html show full recording.

How can this be fixed? This isn't expected, since the unit isn't "PowerPod Lite", and the firmware release notes indicate the limitations only apply to the Lite model per https://velocompforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=4673

"6. Adds support for PowerPod Lite power meter. The features below are specific to PowerPod Lite only:
a. No limit to number of profiles stored in Isaac
b. Profile 1 is used on PowerPod Lite sensor; profiles 2, 3, and 4 are not accessible
c. Lite memory records the first 10 minutes of each ride. (Your bike computer will record information for your entire ride)"

Thank you!

Please post a ride file that shows your problem

Here's one for 21km. About 1h. It's a long there-and-back ride.

You have a Powerpod Lite that was manufactured in December 2019. We ceased production of V1 in 2017-2018.

If you want you can upgrade your unit to a full PowerPod:

Oh, interesting! I guess I got confused since it looks like the "old" version (in the vertical case), not matching the newer PowerPod pictures.

Thanks. Applied the upgrade to full v3 now, expecting to be able to update firmware to later versions. But it still says 6.41 is the latest. Not expected. Why is that?

Your particular circuit board uses the original microprocessor, which is not compatible with FW 7+. You have the most current FW available for your MCU.
